In mid to late February, four impact workshops took place in the BioVal project, in which the three practice partners Ritter Sport, Seeberger and FRoSTA as well as the research team discussed past project activities and targeted impacts. The workshops are part of the formative evaluation firmly established in the project, which serves to iteratively readjust the research process. The overall objective of the workshops was to review and, if necessary, readjust the common understanding of project vision and impact, as well as to reflect on and refine project goals and activities. Overall, it was shown that defined milestones have already been reached and that the project is well on its way to achieving the intended impacts in terms of conservation and protection of biodiversity along the product life cycles of food.
