Publication of the first results of the consumer survey

Posted on 27. October 2022

As part of the BioVal research project, the ZTG – Center for Technology and Society surveyed consumers in June 2022 about their attitudes towards biodiversity and their behavioral intentions when buying food. 1,028 people between the ages of 18 and 75 participated in the online survey. Read in the first results, awareness of the impact of food production on biodiversity, as well as attitudes and prioritizations in this regard, e.g., according to benefit considerations express. In addition, you will learn about the willingness to act to conserve biodiversity (e.g. by buying biodiversity-friendly products) and the expectations of consumers regarding the protection of species from food producers.

Here you can find the first results of the consumer survey and the corresponding press release.
